About the Evergreen Weather Station

Data are collected using a Davis Instruments, Weather Monitor II. The data collection instrument is located on the roof of Lab Building II at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington (47º04'20" N by 122º58'44" W). It was installed in the winter of 1999 by Dr. Jim Stroh and Rip Heminway.

If this is your first time accessing the database you may want to examine a list of field types included in each record before you begin searching.

The weather database went on-line officially on April 5, 1999. Data are automatically posted to the database from the data collection station at 30 minute intervals. This is accomplished using an internet standards based application designed here at TESC. If you would like information about using our software for your station please contact Rip Heminway.
